- Password Security: We do NOT store your actual password. All passwords are
hashed using industry-standard strong encryption (bcrypt) before being stored in our database.
This means even we cannot see your password.
- Data Sharing: We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally
identifiable information to outside parties. Your data stays with us.
- Google Sign-In & Third-Party Authentication: When you choose to sign in using
Google,
we only collect and store the following information to create and manage your account:
- Google ID: Used solely to identify your account.
- Email Address: Used for account uniqueness and essential communication.
- Name / Username: Used to display your profile on the site.
- Profile Picture: Used as your site avatar.
By using Google Sign-In, you acknowledge and agree that we access this specific information for
the sole purpose
of providing you with a seamless login experience. We do not access your contacts, drive files,
or any other personal
data, and we do not post anything to your Google account or share this data with third parties.
Terms of Service
1. Content Liability
HytaleLibrary acts as a platform for the community to share plugins, mods, assets, and server listings.
Please be aware of the following:
- We are not responsible for the content uploaded by users (plugins, mods, assets, or
server descriptions).
- Users are solely responsible for ensuring their uploaded content does not violate any laws or
third-party rights.
- While we try our best to monitor and moderate all content, we cannot guarantee that every file is
safe or follows the rules at all times. Download and use content at your own risk.
2. User Conduct & Moderation
We strive to maintain a safe and friendly community. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Uploading malicious software (viruses, malware, etc.).
- Posting hate speech, harassment, or inappropriate content.
- Spamming or flooding the website.
Enforcement: If any
violation is found, we reserve the right to remove the offending content immediately and permanently ban
the user account responsible without prior notice.
3. Account Termination & Deletion
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or
liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Voluntary Account Deletion via Profile:
If you choose to delete your account using the deletion option in your profile, the following actions
will occur immediately and irreversibly:
- Your entire account record will be permanently deleted from our database.
- All content uploaded by you (Mods, Plugins, Art, Server Listings) will be permanently
deleted, including associated files and data.
- All your comments, votes, and interactions will be removed.
- This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data is unrecoverable.
